Oh noes, iz hungovers! holyandsexy September 29 2008, 03:26:09 UTC
He thought someone might be knocking, either that or his head was pounding. He decided it must be his head, considering the latent smell of alcohol in the breath mussing his hair. He cracked his eyes slightly, just to be sure of one thing, and felt a surge of the same relief he had yesterday when he'd found Tamaki alive. He really was back.
The second thing he felt was a stab of nausea as the light went straight through his eyes to the back of his skull. In trying to stand quickly, he found his hair knotted around Tamaki's hands, he fell back to sitting on Tamaki's knees, unsure of what to do now.

Tamaki reached out blindly for the warmth that was moving away and he ended up snuggled into the crook between his neck and shoulder, his head not quite pounding enough for him to wake up. He untangled his hands to curl up better and fell right back asleep.

Yujinn considered it, but decided against moving again until Tamaki was actually awake. At least his hair was loose now. He curled up again, shutting his eyes to keep out the light.

"Are you awake?" He said quietly, remaining as still as possible.

Tamaki muttered incoherently and kept his face in that nice crook that kept all the light out. The hair was tickling his nose though and he whined and reached up to bat it away.

"Don't want to wake up..." He mumbled.

"Mmmhmm." Yujinn answered, twisting a little to look at Tamaki's face without having to open his eyes too much. This wasn't as bad as the last hangover at least, but the smell of the snackfoods still sitting at the foot of the couch wasn't helping his stomach at all.
"But I have the feeling we'll have to get up sooner or later."

Tamaki groaned and decided maybe he could open his eyes. It wasn't so bad here, surrounded by hair to block the light, but when he leaned back a little, the light hit full force and he sat back hard, eyes squeezed shut, whimpering a little.

"Why is it so bright..."If he could remember the first hangover, he'd realized this one was much worse. His head would not stop pounding even with his eyes shut and put his hands over his eyes to block ever more of the light.

"Because you're hungover." Yujinn said, a little snarky. He stood, stumbling a little over the arranged food and shut off the lights. Finding his feet much more steady then they were, he started up the stairs to get some of the pills Tamaki had offered him last time.

Tamaki grumbled at him and almost whined when he got up. He did reach out after him, but realized after a second he was already too far away to grab. He wanted his blanket back. He settled instead for burying his face in the couch and trying to fall back to sleep. It was alot harder with this headache seeking to destroy his skull from within. And he was cold.

Here you go... NO! holyandsexy September 29 2008, 04:11:08 UTC
Yujinn found the bottle, shaking a few pills out into his hand, he took some himself, and then refilled the cup for Tamaki. He stopped long enough to grab a spare blanket and brought it down with him.

Once downstairs, he rubbed Tamaki's shoulder. "I brought some medicine for the headache."

Tamaki opened his eyes slowly. So there wasn't much light now and he could make out someone in front of him. His brain took a second to put two and two together even if he had been talking to him for a few minutes now. He gave Yujinn a shaky half smile and sat up a little. He took the water and pills gratefully and held the cup against his forehead for a second before drinking it.

"...Thanks. Sorry." He closed his eyes and leaned against the couch.

"That's all right." Yujinn said, taking the glass back and setting it on the table. He pulled out the blanket and settled it on Tamaki's shoulders. It just barely reached to his feet, but that was alright.
"It took about an hour last time." He added, sitting next to him on the couch and leaning against him.

Tamaki pulled the blanket around himself gratefully and looked at Yujinn. "Aren't you cold?"

"Was it this bad last time?" He couldn't imagine it being any worse. His stomach was throwing a small fit over the medicine and he groaned. It was just water and medicine, he tried to tell himself, as if he could make his stomach listen.

"I'm okay." Yujinn answered, not entirely truthfully.
"I think last time you had a much easier time, I was pretty sick to my stomach." Sometimes it was nice to get a role reversal though. "How are you feeling?"

"Horrible." He leaned against Yujinn and spread the blanket over him a bit. Okay or not, the blanket would be nice, he thought.

He tucked the blanket over on his other side, leaning closer. "Just wait it out, that's all you can do. Although I've head a lot of bizarre... 'commoner', recipes for curing hangovers. Something involving raw eggs and vinegar."

"...NO." The very thought sent his stomach into pangs and he whimpered, curling under the blanket around his stomach. He was not going to throw up. Nope. He pulled his knees up under the blanket and leaned his head on them.

"A whole hour you say..." He tried to calm his stomach before he had to make a mad dash upstairs.
