Kanda had taken the opportunity to find out how the surroundings looked like when he walked to the vending machine and back again. It didn't prove to work

Turret was sitting upright on the couch when Kanda returned. His face immediately changed from a hollow one, so a wide smile, waving his glowstick at the organic as he entered. "Kanda~!" he squeaked, before watching him head to the kitchen, and then frowning. .. Had the organic heard him? .."Are you still there?" he asked, frowning at the glowstick he was holding directly infront of him.

Kanda turned around after putting the package down on the bench. "What?

...yes, I'm still here."

..Turret nodded a little. "..Gooooduh."

Kanda sighed. The kid obviously hadn't figured out how to turn his body around. "It's 'good'. And you can try to turn to face this way. You'll see me then," He said as he started to look trough the cupboards for cooking utilities.

When he let go of his hand, the chopsticks slipped slightly, but he gripped them, and did exactly what Kanda had told him to, concentrating on picking up the noodle. He moved the sticks forward, and gripped one of them, picking it up, before slipping, and it falling back onto his plate. He frowned, but was not put off, and tried again, this time getting a good grip.

He beamed up at Kanda. "Look! Task Completed!!"

Kanda just nodded. He was pleased that Turret seemed to want to learn, and that he did it fast. It was less troublesome that way.

"Good," Kanda said as he started eating a little.

Turret was so pleased that he'd been actually been able to follow an order that all he did was sit there, holding the chopsticks with the lone noodle on it, beaming at it. It took him a moment before he glanced at Kanda, and realised that he was doing something else with the noodles. He frowned, and glanced at them, then back to Kanda, confusion written all over his face.

"Input into speakers?"

Kanda just raised his eyebrows. Speake--? ...oh. Right.

"It's called mouth. And yes, you put your food in it," he said, picking up more soba himself. "And chew," he added, for safety.
