No Good Will Come Of This. [ATTN: Saguru, Open ]

Aug 10, 2008 13:52

CHARACTERS: Neuro, Saguru?
SUMMARY: After thought, Neuro revisits something Saguru said and decides to poke it.
PLACE: Pub
TIME: Evening, Aug. 10
WARNINGS: Plotting, cheap attempts at dodging surveillance listening in, and possible existential weirdness.

Even lacking his ways to cheat, Neuro wasn't particularly stupid, and had a good memory... And was far too pragmatic to avoid an idea just because it was "unpleasant".
So it was that in pondering on the situation and how on EARTH the people running this place - presumably human - had managed to trap him in a human body, he'd found himself revisiting a couple lines from a chat not long after he'd arrived - It was hard to tell if the person that'd said them meant them seriously or not, but even if it had been sarcasm, it was, perhaps, something just as feasible as mass extradimensional kidnapping.
And so, the area around the pub was being subjected to Neuro's taste in music cranked up to "difficult to hear conversation from next table", while the ex-demon waited over a drink and a plate of pasta -
Because on the off chance they meandered past a correct theory, Neuro didn't feel like testing if their hosts would appreciate their experiments catching on.

"you came here on time, I just hope that it's not to late - I've seen you at night, Biting the frost of silence; Can you cure us of this fate, Mock the litany in its face..."

((I'm going to start tracking music getting used like this. >_>; This Apparatus Must Be Unearthed/Mars Volta I probably need to apologize to Saguru for the huge amount of patterned-discord in it. At least he's not hitting the Aphex Twin.
FTR, on the Joshua/Washu, it was No One Lives Forever/Oingo Boingo, Chrome/VNV Nation, and Three Minutes Clapping off the WEWY soundtrack.))
