(no subject)
I don't really watch much of the NBA with the exception of the occasional Spurs game, but I kept seeing the NBA All Star Game previews on TNT and started looking into the bit Shaq did last year with these masked dancers, and then caught the name of the dance group from a Tosh.0 episode.
The Jabberwoky Dance Crew. I watched a few of their videos and it got me to thinking. Gackt has been doing the Lu:Na men bit for years, hasn't anyone called this dance crew out for copying tons of the moves and using the same mask gimmick? Even the bit with Shaq at the All Star Game last year smacked of stuff I saw back during the concerts directly following Moon's release.
Not that it really matters or anything, if Gackt and Yoshi don't care, then there's no reason for anyone else to get all up in arms. It's just meh to me that people can take stuff they see overseas and bring it here and pretend that it's an "original" idea.
Just a thought.
In other news. Bioshock 2 = Hotness. Being a Big Daddy is the shit, I don't care what Game Informer said, getting it is definitely worth the money. I had the collectors version reserved and it came with an art book, a cd of the Bioshock 2 soundtrack and a vinyl record of the first Bioshock soundtrack. Plus an awesome box to store it in, and Some cool mini posters of the advertisements like seen on the wall in Rapture.
I'm trying to get the hang of shooting and using plasmids like that again, before I go play multiplayer and get my butt handed to me by a total stranger in multiplayer mode. XD
