So I went to the only game shop in Conroe.  And as I got in my car only one word came to mind.  Ick.

I think I've been seriously spoiled by the high quality, clean, and spacious game shops in Virginia (Tower of Games) and New York (Zombie Planet).    In comparison the shop in conroe (which I won't link) was small and dingy.  When I walked in I felt like I should apologize for interrupting their movie, though no one noticed they had a customer for quite a while so clearly it wasn't that big a deal.    Also a game shop needs gaming space and that was minimal there probably about six beat up tables in the middle of the shop situated so i had to squeeze past a couple of guys playing Yu-Gi-Oh to get to the counter -

I mean seriously YuGiOh?  Who plays that?  Its not a bad anime really, but the game is just not good.

Anyway the sign on the door announced Draft and Constructed FNM on the door (and written in purple magic marker - would taking 2 minuets to type and print a sign have really been that hard?) though I can't imagine its fun to play there with not one but two tournaments going on at the same time.  I'm going up to Huntsville later this week where Eric claims there is a better game store.   I hope he's right, otherwise its like to be a long spring till I get back to Dallas.
