A high of NEGATIVE ONE DEGREE tomorrow.
God. Save us all. Please. I haven't seen the sky in days; when I walk to school, I wrap my scarf around my nose, pull my hat down over my forehead, and walk with my head down. The icy sidewalk is about all I've seen of the outside world this week.
Next weekend, though. Temperatures in the TWENTIES, according to yahoo!weather. We'll be practically sunbathing. Sweet.
... Wow, I guess I'm a real Minnesotan now, that that seems totally lovely and warm to me. I guess it is -- certainly at least by comparison to this frozen hell. I have a red burn on the knuckles of my right hand, where it was exposed to the negative 30 windchill for about forty seconds earlier this evening.
Um. Sorry to be the Weather Woman lately, but this is sort of amazing. In an awful kind of way.
