Ugh. Sweating over a stupid neuroscience lab, which may possibly end up teaching me something -- I have serious doubts -- but which at the moment is just making me sleepy and frustrated and irritated with myself for not having planned my time better. RARRRGH.
Yeah. If anyone knows anything about cholinergic antagonists (in this case the M2-receptor selective methoctramine) and potential effects thereof on prefrontal neurons suspected to be related to short-term spatial memory, or has a better ability to interpret perievent rasters than I do, speak up now and I will cheerfully bake you cookies or bear you children, whichever you'd prefer.
Alternatively, amuse and distract me from my pain by telling me:
1. The stupidest joke you've ever heard.
2. The best pick-up line or gimmick anyone's used on you. (Or the stupidest. They're often the same.)
3. The last thing that made you grin.
Answering any of these three won't induce me to produce babies or baked goods for you (unless the pick-up lines are really brilliant)... but it will make me quite deeply grateful to you for the distraction.
And I'll be struggling with this project for the next day or two at least, so if you don't happen to see this post right away, reply anyway. I can always use a dose of Cheering Silliness.
