(no subject)
... Hmm. Today was sort of exhausting. I can find happy things if I think about it, though. Let's see...
- Worked with a couple of my favorite Ginkgo nuts today (I've decided to call employees and possibly frequent patrons Ginkgo nuts). Sierra, who keeps things impeccably tidy and laughs at my dumb jokes and grouses with me very satisfyingly. And also 'the other Anna', who spells her name the same as I do and also pronounces it with a long A, who not only laughs at my dumb jokes but makes them with me which is even better. She also likes verbal incongruity, personifying things, singing little songs in silly voices, making up preposterous stories about the customers, and play-fighting. So we have fun together.
- Hung out for a short while with two of my housemates after I woke up from my post-work nap. I've realized that this household has a collection of amazingly beautiful smiles. All of my current housemates have gorgeous, infectious grins that light up their whole faces. It's lovely.
- Wore a new shirt today, which I'd just meant to be a practical work shirt. But four people told me how great I looked in it. All of them not just in a "hey, nice shirt," sort of way but in a "holy moly, you look gorgeous today!" sort of way. One of them got all distracted and ordered me to stop being so hot. Heehee.
- Uh.... uh... my sheets are soft. And I am going to sleep soon. Thank god. It really has been an exhausting day.
