Here's the highlights reel:
--I'm alive.
--School's not too bad, my kids make my brain hurt but I wouldn't trade them.
--Science Club is surprisingly successful. Kids actually come to meetings because they want to! Score!
--Thespian Society...not so much, at least not yet. I'm trying to resurrect this thing still. It's practically non-existent and that makes me sad.
--Things with Steve are absolutely fabulous. We've gotten good at holding each other up, and it's nice to have something mutual.
--I'm very out of the APO loop, but that's actually OK with me. I'll be at Nationals, but I'm headed out before the closing banquet.
--Money's tight. I'm living by myself now, and getting by, but if anyone's looking for a place to live....
--Dad's losing his job this month. We've been prepared for this, so there's not THAT much coping to do.
--Nicole was diagnosed with MS earlier this month. My sister's only 21. There's considerably more coping involved with this one. We're getting by the best we can and she's hanging in there because sometimes that's all you can do. We're just glad to have caught it early.
--I feel like I'm constantly at choir rehearsal. Between All Saints', the cantata I'm doing for Steve's family's church, and the Bach cantata I'm doing Sunday, it's a lot. At least some of those will be over soon and others will be relaxed soon.
--I have a hermit crab. He's going to school with me tomorrow. As per the votes from the Science Club, his name is "Emo". Let's hope he doesn't live up to his name.
--My 1st period had no idea there were towns in Africa. Well, most of them didn't. The girl from Ghana just shook her head in dismay,
--If you actually see me and I have my laptop on me, remind me to show you the videos from the Halloween lab. It was a smashing success, and some of the videos are highly entertaining.
--I'm going to bed. I haven't been sleeping nearly enough recently.
