THANK YOU AMANDA AND AMI!!! Those Queen videos will keep me company and give me motivatoin whenever it's needed :) Freddy Mercury is the man, and now I can look at him as I please. Oh, and gummy sharks rule!! My sports mascot in high school was the sharks, so we'd but the gummies and I got hooked on them then.
Okay, in other non-wonderful-amanda-and-ami news... I've been very well! I've now worked for 2 weeks at my summer job and am very comfortable and in the swing of things there. Everyone is so nice and respectful. It's been a little slow and my boss keeps apologizing, assuring me that it'll get busier later this summer. It's all good!
Otherwise, I must admit that there isn't too much to talk about.
Because these are the days leading up to my birthday, Jason and I played mini-golf on Friday (that's always such fun), and he, Amanda, Sameera, my friend Nick from FL and I all went to the Lincoln Park Zoo yesterday. It was a perfectly beautiful day and we all had a blast watching the funny animals. In particular, we saw a whole bundle of little ducklings in some fairly tall grass tottering around and then grouping when their mommy yelled at them. T'was ridiculously adorable, even though you're not supposed to go to the zoo and stand in awe at the ducks who are mostly there by default :)
We also all went to the Indian restaurant near the Belmont stop for supper, yummmmm.
Yeah, that's about enough babble for now. Darn this body rythm of waking up around 9 am, it's a friggin Sunday!
