sooo funny, after two months of constantly applying for everything under the sun and getting zero response. the first interview i land is the job i get. what's also odd is how smoothly this job made itself available to me. got a call back the day i sent my resume over. the first interview lasted a whopping 5 mins ending with the owner telling me how great she thinks i am and that i'm perfect for the job. the second interview was basically just a conversation to confirm her positive impression of me. after i told her about my moving to france on a whim she was sold. chemistry is such a funny thing, with work and love. we put so much emphasis on the what and the how of who we are, the experiences we've had, does all that really matter? maybe it's all chemical and we come up with reasons for our initial impressions. really it all boils down to two things. do you like me? do you trust me? if the answer to those questions is yes, you're hired.
