Seoul Day 2: Dead Tired
So today's itinerary is just a bunch of stuff I put on together with no real plans. Haha. Here's a summary of today's activities:
GWANGHWAMUN SQUARE and GYEONGBOKGUNG PALACE
I love how the sqaure is so huge and prwtty with the garden in the middles. What's more is that they have a small stream on both ends with years and the important events that happened in Korea stated there. Up ahead from Gwanghwamun square is the Gyeongbokgung Palace. I got really fascinated with the guards and their ceremony. I didnt went inside anymore but just waited for the ceremony to start. Haha
BUKCHON HANOK VILLAGE
I walked to Bukhon from the palace and got a bit lost. Hahaha. What can I say... Hmmm.. I'm pretty diappointed. I was anticipating more but it's just...ok. What was bad was there was a lot of Korean tourists (they came in batch of BUSES. BUSESITELLYOUDEMMET). So all in all, I didnt really enjoy Bukchon Hanok Village much.
INSADONG and CHEONGGYECHEON (idk if I got the name right)
I walked again down to Insadong amd was actually planning to visit Jogyesa Temple and that mall where there are no stairs (dont ask me the name, I fail so hard at remembering Korean places' names). I didnt visit either. Hahaha. My feet is aching at this point bec my shoes is hitting the back part of my ankles and blisters are appearing :( I ended up at Cheonggyecheon stream and spent sometime there admiring the manmade wonder. I was hoping to spend my evening there, but then I went back to my hostel in Itaewon aeound 6pm. Haha
I had my dinner at 7pm and everywhere else is still so bright as if it's still around 4pm. I'm still not used to that ahaha. So by 9pm, me and my room mates went out to see DONGDAEMUN. It was fun but we didnt do any shopping. We did visit the LED roses near DDP and it was lovely :)
So yeah, tomorrow is gonna be another adventure. I still dont know what to do though haha.
