I like the description of the curtain rising on Jayne's mind. I could see that happening and feel why he would do it for River. It's good that she can see past all the bad things and finds the hidden honour.

The last paragraph is excellent and you can see how much they depend on each other.

Thank you! I knew threats and taunts would drive you here! >;0)

The last paragraph really gives me the belief that they can weather any storm as it rises; not with the cultured elegance and hard scrabble relaxation of Inara and Mal, but with the raw physicality and ethereal grace of River.

Not pretentious, actually incredibly apropos! (Stop reading my mind!!! I have a hard enough time keeping track of it without others borrowing it!)

I do like the see-saws and bladed spinning tops tehe!

Hope you are well darlin', think of you whenever I see that lovel icon >:0)

Your stuff is always so pretty! [/shallow]

They're both such dark creatures, and while River possesses a hint of innocence in her, I'm never able to see her as truly innocent, not even before her stay at the Academy. They clash and they get drawn back together again, and now that the tie's been put into a new form, a draw of blood and deeper things, the connection's tightening up and instead of smothering each other like some would, they're finding a way to fit together, all the little hollows filling up in the right way.

It's so amazing, how easy it is to fall into your stuff, *whomps*

LOL, *Reaches out to help Missy up, brushing fluffy remnants off*

I remember River in the beginning of Safe saying they had to eat the men, there was no other choice and thinking that there was more than fluffy childishness there.

Ying-yang balance of force and relief, pressure and allowance. Flows in a swirl around, neither whole without the other, each perfect in form alone, the sum greater than the whole of the parts...*Me rambling on...*

Oh, my God, you saw it there, too!

*flaps hands in glee*

Reason #134 that Missy tends to be anti-overlyinnocent!River - she's all about the people-eating when she was a little genius bit, you know?

....

I've already had too much coffee this morning, I can feel it.

*Borrows some of Missy's energy* No such thing as too much coffee! (Well, almost no such thing).

I thought, 'Whoa, that little girl has an interesting streak in her.' >;0) Kind of in the 'Oh God, oh God, we are all gonna die kind of way... including riding dinosaurs!!!

It is such a beautiful image that it keeps coming back to haunt me with the etherealness of it...
