It is most definitely more complicated. Mal's sky got more crowded and his ship became more than a valley you never leave. It is an interesting place to live. I wish I was there...

Those two men *shakes head*. I love this conversation - it's very Mal & Jayne. I like Jayne's certainty that River would follow him and his manner of expressing it :D

I know those two men are at cross purposes most times, so watching this unfold is fun in that cringing kind of way...

And somehow I see River being right there, listening in that eerie quiet way she has. No reaction to Jayne when he calls her a genius with no sense. She knows truth.
