And you continue to excell at your imagery, from one sentence to the next, weaving images together like a web. Again, too, your use of hot and cold fills me with an almost unhealthy kind of glee, truly. Off-setting each other's harshness, smoothing some of the extremes, and it was gorgeous.

Exactly! You found that which makes their love so improbable and yet impossible to ignore...

Thank you so much for your always lovely support, it feeds the soul!

I love how you illustrate the dependence they feel for each other. I like the feeling of peace the rain and guitar playing bring to River & Jayne and the reader as well.

This was their piece, their silence, the place that wasn't overwhelmed with fire and glacial colds. Beautiful words again...

I must credit razycrandomgirl with the rain and dancing, it was so lovely a visual she created that Jayne's playing just fed into the calm and tranquility of it.

Thank you so much for feeding the muse with warm support.

I'm not sure it's humanly possible for me to love this more! Good gracious woman, you are truly a wordsmith! :)

He played, his fingers bringing life to the notes of her dance, touching into her grace and giving it sound.

Love, love, LOVE!!!

Well...that is quite a humbling compliment! And an amazing one! Thank you so very much. This piece is very much a result of two hearts beating in rhythm.

That sentence was a gift of the muse, she graced River with such power in her dance that it drew Jayne to a place heb otherwise would have avoided...

And, wow..Love! {{{{{Cricket}}}}}

Awww thank you kindly. I'm so happy my bitty rambling could bring out this wonderfulness. I love that Jayne played to her dancing and she danced to his playing. You work wonders with words, darlin'. I must read this again. :-D

They are such a true enigma to me that writing them to life is so rewarding... And I could never do that without your help...

A musical Jayne is always delightful. I like how you twisted their dancing and his wonderful, bluesy guitar playing together.

Some moments are imbued with such beauty that they just press themselves to the front to be written... Thank you for the lovely compliment.

Note and space, music and dancing. alexis_laforge April 26 2007, 04:00:50 UTC
I just thought of that. Jayne has such a THEREness, for lack of a better term. He so completely, positively fills an area. River, on the other hand, is ethereal but, like negative space in art, is no less powerful a statement than positive space.

Oh dear. Having such lovely thoughts when I must be awake in less than 5 hours!

One hopes then for some lovely dreams for those short hours of sleep ahead of you... I love your comment about Jayne's THEREness! Perfect... he only vanishes when he wants to, otherwise he is an incredibly living presence to me while River is far more etheral, agreed.
