Well, Christmas is done and gone, and all that's left if the aftermath, be it gifts received, the hole in your wallet, shot in the head, divorced, whatever. This is about what I got! (and well, maybe a last minute gift I got someone and peoples reactions once I gave the gifts)
So, I think I already said before that I got a TV. I gave my old one to poppet~ I hope every time she looks at it, knowingly or not, she thinks of all the possible things Ty could have done to it while I was in Ruston. X'D My dad surprised me and got me a 1TB Seagate desktop external HDD. weeeeeeeeeee~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1TB to store pron! wootness! Also got a joint gift from him to me and my brother, Call of Duty: Black Ops. Ty beat the story mode already, and we have fun(and get aggravated with) the multiplayer. Love the fact that you can kill zombies as Nixon, Kennedy, and Castro. (I've no clue nor do I care about who the other guy is.)
On our way to Walmart on the 24th, my mom and I stopped by the local music shop and bought my dad two harmonicas, C and G key. He loved it. He also was happy with the Saints jacket and the Michael Grimm CDs.
My mom loved her presents. She's happy she can just wear the robe outside instead of her jacket since it's so warm. She loved her kitty hat too; she just has a problem with it not wanting to sit on her head properly b/c of her hair always being in a bun.
Ty was really happy with his TV, but I think he might have been happier with the Avenged Sevenfold CD I got him. He apparently wanted it that badly. XD
Mrs. Terry at my mother's workplace loved the gift I got her, bread mix with a tin. She said she's got the tin with all her family photos on a shelf her husband made. I'm glad she liked it that much. ^.^ I was more interested in how the bread would come out. >.>;
The food was delicious!!! Nice ham with crunchy cracklin-like skin, meat was super tender. Mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, cheesy brussel sprouts (MMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!), crescent rolls. My stomach just about fell out I was so full afterwords. >_<
Oh, Harley (girl from the messages in a prior post) randomly started talking to me again via text one morning asking if I had a Steam account. I got up at some point and made one and was gifted with a game, Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale. I run an item shop like those in RPGs. It's amusing; I just wish I didn't have to pay the stupid adventurer to go dungeon crawling. A larger backback to carry more stuff would be nice too. (Also wish I'd get to keep more of the loot to sell.)
I got myself Portal, Osmos, and World of Goo last night/this morning. Something to kill the time, free so what's it matter.
rambling,
christmas
