This is very well written and extremely compelling...I look forward to later installments. It's rare to see the Hufflepuffs handled with dignity at all, and even moreso Zacharias, who has gotten truly shafted in the fandom. Not fair that the same people who are eager to bend over backwards defending Snape and Draco just chalk him off as a bastard. Also, the 7th year D.A. is a personal novel-length obsession of mine, so it's a delight to see that handled with strength and creativity.

I've recently discovered your epic, and have begun reading it. It's so far very fantastic, and much more exciting than reading about an extended camping trip. But, I also love minor characters.

I have noticed how those who try to redeem Draco cast Zacharias as an even worse person. They're both prats, but Smith's the lesser of the two, by canon. Thank you for your insight. It's very appreciated. :)

WOAH. I was so not expecting that! But now I am completely and utterly intrigued by your Daphne! :D

What I also really loved about this was the part with Amycus teaching class. It's kind of fascinating to read about the information he's feeding these kids... I mean, for some reason, this is one of my favorite lines:

A girl in the front row eagerly raised her hand. “Professor, what sort of weapons do the Muggles have?”

Daphne's last line had me pumping my fists. I do sort of think she's one of those types who'll follow the rules, short of really truly believing all the stuff that DE's must. Great, great first bit here. And boy, Zach already kind of has a certain "sparkle" with Daphne.

I love the last line SO MUCH. This is really cool! I love the different rhythm to this one, as compared to your Zacharias/Cho series. Much foreboding, and promise too - especially as far as Daphne is concerned. I enjoyed your characterization of her in this one, and I'm looking forward to more! :DD
