HOLY WOW. Does it make me weird that I completely love that you ended the series like this? I mean, it was so unexpected, and yet it fits so well. It's not a sugar-coated happily-ever-after. It's like... It's just so realistic. And I think somehow that it really takes guts to pull an ending like this.

Anyway. I've enjoyed reading this series so much. Your Zacharias is flawlessly written, as is your Cho... and all the other characters you slip in are amazingly done, as well. I'm going to miss this, but I'm looking forward to Zacharias/Daphne (w00t!). Thanks so much for writing. ♥

I was actually kind of upset to have to end it on a bad note. Thank you much for your reviews and support. It's very nice to know that you enjoyed the story arc. Your compliments have been very appreciated. :)

I've enjoyed all your Zacharius Smith work but particularly this series. Cho's and Smith's attitudes, words and actions were very true to real teen relationships. Both Smith and Cho were complete characters whose actions were entirely consistent. You didn't tack on a cheap out of character response to give them happy endings. Very few people are mature enough in High School to sustain a long relationship. I like how little Zacharius understood Cho. This was a very realistic and compelling read.

Teen relationships I've found the most difficult thing to write, which is why I keep mostly to gen. Especially when trying to write from the perspective of a teenage boy. It's nice to hear that this series came across nicely, and that you enjoyed it. Thank you for your review. :)

Finally got around to reading this. :)

You completely threw me by surprise with this one - I guess I was half-expecting for them to come to a better understanding. But Zacharias is much too volatile for that! :P It's rather sad to see their relationship end like this, but I suppose it's all for the best. With this ending, you kept it real and true to the characters.

Congrats on finishing a wonderful series! :DD

Congratulations on finishing your story arc. The ending was bitter, but I'm not sure I could see it ending any other way. As so many other commenters have said, the two characters and their relationship and all the problems that came with it were fully realized. I'm not sure any other type of ending would have worked to be honest. So what's next?

Thank you for the insightful review. It's good to hear that you enjoyed the arc, even with the bitter ending. :) Next should be Zacharias/Daphne, whenever I get the basic idea started in Word.

Yup! Had to happen like this. If you're staying true to your characters (and I really think you have all throughout this) Cho trying to understand, but ultimately reaching an impasse, and ZS just unable to give even the slightest bit to Cho, even if he thinks she should automatically read his mind or something like that.

He just can't be happy, can he? That poor, poor prat!

DEFINITELY looking forward to Zacharias/Daphne (I'm writing her too! Adore her :-D )

It's been a joy to hear from you on this arc, and it's been great to know that you've enjoyed it. Thank you for your compliments and reviews. They're appreciated. :)

Daphne Greengrass is going to be fun to write. Also, I'm going to get started on your arc here soon, after the mayhem in RL gets down so where I can enjoy it. The idea of Ravenclaw/Slytherin pairings intrigue me. :)
