Season 3: Input/Predictions

Hey everyone! I figured we could have have a "next season input/prediction" post, talking about what we think will happen (according to history/deviations from history), how characters will develop (plot-wise/personality), things we would like to see *cough*Ces and Luc*cough*, etc

-More of the Cesare Borgia/Niccolo Machiavelli bromance on screen. :D
-Someone to fill the hole in my heart that Alfonso of Naples left. We need a cackling, crazy prince back in this show!
-Micheletto's feelings towards Cesare being hinted at or acknowledged. (I can ship them too, right? :P) And perhaps Micheletto getting some scenes with a new lover.
-Everyone continuing to wear fabulous costumes.

All of what you said, but especially this! Especially the Micheletto bits - I really liked his scenes in the last episode and I'd really like some more backstory on him. Or just in general more scenes. :p (Why wasn't he at Luc's wedding? Having victory sex with some random guy cause Savonarola was dead?)

Yes more backstory indeed--especially in terms of why he killed his father! I wonder if his father found out about his sexuality and he wanted to silence him?

And maybe he was skulking in the shadows of the betrothal celebration (it wasn't the wedding yet) keeping security? Good question...

I'd like them to pair up more too. Maybe plotting together more directly and being aware of each other's actions during and not just after.

Mich definitely has room for character development. I wonder if he'll mess up a kill or somewhat betray cesare in anyway. The punishment sex would be hot. Because of their tension, I have a thing for "your eminence" but that could stem from my cardinal!cesare kink lol

Between his death, the French King's demise, and Juan's murder there has been a veritable purge of trolls on this show...while we have plenty left in Cesare, Ascanio Sforza, and Rodrigo, there is a trolling void now!

Am I the only one who likes Ascanio Sfoza...? I have no idea for what reason, though, lol.

Because he is hilarious as a snarky, clever motherfucker? ;) I love him too, he was especially entertaining this season, with his witty commentary and lines like "bring him back to life as if he were our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ himself!" Also his laughing fit when the French King died was priceless...the whole Sforza clan is pretty interesting.

Yesss this, I loved their new bromance so much, creating along with Micheletto the Male Triumverate of Awesome to accompany the one amongst the ladies! ;) I enjoyed Machiavelli last season, but this season I loved him even more as he became more of an ally of Cesare's...it was so nice to get that last scene between them for the season in the finale. (I am mad impressed at how he can peel apples without even looking...:p)

OMG THIS! Yes you can ship them too, I do after this season. I mean I feel it's very much implied (especially after the reveal that he is gay), but him admitting his feelings (perhaps to a third party, that new lover?) would be AMAZING...IDK if I'd ever want Cesare to find out explicitly (because it would be awkward), but I wonder if he suspects...if he even knows Micheletto is
