François Arnaud vs The Ginger Sandwich
Not sure if you guys have already watched this video, but anyway...

I have no idea whatsoever WTH is this program about, I actually came across this video the other day by accident. So here's what's going on: the kid proposes a challenge to François, who loves ginger. He has to eat a sandwich 100% made of ginger stuff and finally drink a ginger liqueur, otherwise he'll have to pay a sort of "penalty". The ingredients: ginger powder (which is - according to the boy - "extremely spicy"; we can tell), ginger cookies, ginger paste, fresh ginger and marinated ginger.
When he tries the whole thing, François says that "it explodes" once inside the mouth and, refusing the boy's offer of a glass of water, says that he thinks he has tears in his eyes, LOL. (and when the kid eats the sandwich, he yells that it really burns). And if I'm not mistaken, he says the sandwich is just too much, he likes ginger tea, poor him.
So he admits he's failed and asks what the consequence is. And it's a reference to his new movie at that time, Les grandes chaleurs: he will play the great lover and give flowers to young women and ask their hand in marriage, but before doing so, he has to seduce them. At this point, his Canadian accent+the flowers on his lips prevented me from understanding his words in details, so if anybody else could translate this part...
Must admit I'm curious about the ginger liqueur, swear to God I thought it looked interesting, LOL.
