Ah yes caption contest is good, I forgot I meant to mention that as well! And I like the idea of a book club in theory (I loved one member's review of Puzo's "The Family" here), but I just don't know how well that would work in practice, since we all have busy lives and books take a lot more time than say watching a movie together...:/ But feel free to read The Prince anyway, one of our members posted about what Machiavelli says about Cesare in it a while back! ;). And if you read a book with something of C/L interest feel free to post your thoughts here, you might be able to get a nice discussion anyway...:)

Thanks for your contribution! Oh and what is Polyvore exactly? :s

Great ideas to keep us from straying during the hiatus.

I second the book club!

Should we do fic contests? Or just leave that to the other communities that are affiliated and specifically dedicated to fic swaps?

I'm actually a dab hand at graphics artistry but haven't done anything on C/L yet so I'd love to enter the header contest... except... where can I get source photos from?!

Ah, I'll be the first to admit that I'm overly ambitious about reading, so perhaps you're right in that it might be best to just have a post. :) So far as Polyvore goes, my understanding is that it's a website that aggregates fashion from a variety of shops and you can essentially design your own ensembles and it makes a pretty picture of them (sort of like a magazine collage). I'm not really doing the site justice though, so if you go to www.polyvore.com I think you might find it more helpful than my explanation. xD I *have* seen people use it to put together their "Ultimate Lady Gaga" outfit, or "What I would wear on a first date with Brad Pitt" which I thought was kinda fun. Perhaps someone else on here can explain it better than I. :)

@Suekiller I would do a fic contest! But since there's already ficex_ceslucrez maybe they'll want to do one? As for source photos, I just take stills from the episode when watching on my computer (not sure how others do this?). I've found out last night that I can actually do this with my iPhone too (AND edit them ( ... )
