See, this is why I like December and Christmas - there's always something to celebrate in this dark period of the year.
Today is Lucia day! (Saint Lucy's Day), which is a tradition celebrated with singing, candles and eating Lussekatter (saffron buns).



Watching this in church, when they march to a wonderful melody -  goosebumps.

some beatiful songs to listen to that are often sung:
Så mörk är natten (so dark is the night)
Jul, jul. strålande jul (Christmas, Christmas, Glorius Christmas)
Sankta Lucia

We also celebrated a bit of Lucia at the library, a few coworkers dressed up and sang for us :D
It turned a bit dramatic at one point when on of the girls just fainted in midsong :S She was fine afterwards, but it looked scary!
