Advance tickets for HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE will go on sale at noon
today at the City Library. For the third year in a row, the SLC FILM CENTER will be
hosting a benefit screening of a new HARRY POTTER film in the stadium theater in the
Megaplex 12 at the Gateway.
This year we have secured a private Thursday, November 17 screening at 8:00 pm.
That means no midnight madness -- and no waiting in line for hours. Tickets
are $20 a person and include a light snack, gift bag and Ben and Jerry's
ice cream. A limited number of Love Sacs can be reserved in your name for
$100 ( they seat three - four people comfortably). All proceeds will go
towards supporting the ongoing programming of the SLC FILM CENTER.
Many of you write and tell us how much you appreciate our programming.
Buying these tickets is an easy way to be the first to see the next
installment of Harry Potter and support the SLC FILM CENTER.
Three years ago we began the SLC FILM CENTER with the promise of bringing
the very best of cinema to Utah Audiences. Today we bring independent, world cinema,
documentaries, family programming and advanced screenings on a weekly basis.
Last year over 18,000 people attended one of our screenings -- and most of
the programs were free! This is your chance to thrill a child or
grandchild and help us contine to build community through the power of film.
To purchase your tickets before they sell out go to the Library Store
inside the City Library at 210 E 400 South or reserve them by phone
by calling 524-8238 with a credit card.
LETS GO!!!! I'm not sure if its general admission or reserved seats, but I assume the latter.
It would be fun to get seats together, as I'm *definitely* going!
