The shamisen warmup is so damned tight and that sound meshes so well with the band. Give it a minute to get rolling. I remember hearing a song by these guys the last time I was in Osaka...and I could never find out anything more about them. But, thanks to YouTube, I can get my fill of this Sendai-based band! One of the singers speaks pretty good Japanese, too!
Man, I love me some shamisen and the Yoshida Bros. are the Super Mario Bros. of the shamisen world.*
*They grow to 15 ft tall when they eat a giant mushroom.
