[An annoyed, heavy sigh, followed by the metallic flick of a lighter. He exhales.]

The sooner these damn bubbles go away, the better. I'd like to be able to go out without exposing my thoughts to everyone. Some more than others.

I guess that's true, Ban. Well...he didn't take the lose of Nodoka well. That's...kinda been on his mind, but other than that, he seems to be taking it okay. I don't mind it. It's not...the worse curse we've had.

Yeah, I noticed her name was off the list. [A pause as he takes a drag on his cigarette.] Kinda figured he'd get pissy over it.

It's not the worst - it's the invasion of privacy I'm not liking.

Were you close to her? [She sighs.] Yeah...I guess they were close. I never even knew that they were friends.

Yeah I guess I can understand that. I'm surprised that they'll allow it to finish after a week. This is the type of thing I could see them enforcing for awhile.

We talked. She was a friend, but Inuyasha was closer to her.

[A snort.] Which is another reason why I don't like it.

[She sighed again.] Well...if they can bring us here like they've done, then you would think that they could also see into our thoughts.

[She gasped. Now she's angry and annoyed.] I bet they can! Urg! They are much worse than Naraku! How dare they bring us here and then just read our thoughts like that! Those jerks! They don't even allow us to say goodbye to our friends when they whisk them back to their homes.

[She's silent for a few seconds, before changing the topic.] I haven't talked to you in a long time. How have you been? How are things going with Rider?

[voice]

[A sigh, followed by a quiet laugh.] I've been all right. Just kinda keepin' to myself until this all blows over. As for that...well, we're talking. Sort of.
