Cat update:
Parents have decided not to press charges to the owners of the dog, as it was the only way we could manage to get the Animal Control agent's full assistance in trying to find said dog.
Thankfully, dad and mom both have jobs, so paying for the vet bill wouldn't fall on me and sis. Well, at which point it'd fall to me, because sis only has like 12 bucks.
Still haven't seen the dog. I imagine we will in a few days. Turns out that around 70 percent of dog owners in our end of town are flouting the leash laws, and our end of town is the most thickly populated. Looks like Animal Control's going to be busy reminding everyone that other people's pets get killed that way.
If nothing happens of this, I'm going to write an article for the local newspaper pleading with people not to let their animals roam free, because chances are they'll harm someone else's pet or get hurt themselves.
Well, I'm finished scripting my next recording, so I'm going to take sis to a movie again.
Edit: Nevermind. Have to wait for someone from Financial Aid to call me back. e_e
