We're Engaged!!!
Last night Scott gave me the most exquisitely gorgeous diamond ring I have ever laid eyes on and asked me to be his wife. I've never felt so indescribably happy! He's a wonderful man and the center of my universe. He is going to be an amazing husband. We're pretty excited about it -- even though the general response so far has been a good-natured grumble of "Well, it's about time!" We have been together for three years, so we realize that we're not exactly surprising the hell out of anybody ... but that's okay. We're happy about it anyway. I will never stop smiling about this for as long as I live.
