I've been taken down by one nasty season-change cold, and spent the entire day in my most comfortable (read: crappiest) pair of flannel pajama pants, with a bottle of water and box of kleenex in hand, and a well worn copy of The Princess Bride tucked under my arm. Cold pills are no help, but it's nothing I won't survive without them. Mom tells me I should drink lots of alcohol, and it's comforting to know the cough remedy forced upon me at age ten still applies. My attempt at sleep earlier was cut short by a well meaning but paranoid Boy.
"Bink? You're not going to sneeze on my neck, are you?"
Only if you're lucky.
Accomplished a surprisingly large number of things today, none of which I can remember having done at the moment, but which are leaving me with a sense of accomplishment nonetheless. Also noticed that my arm muscles are going back into hiding and have vowed to work them into submission. This may have also been my New Year's resolution last year and the year before that, and I'm sure I don't mean it this time either, but for the next few hours, I will seriously consider doing something useful like going to a gym and surely I should get some points for that.
Need coffee. Irish. Lots of it. And sleep, although probably not both at the same time.
