Not so much about comfort, as much as it is about the fact that there are probably still people there with vendettas.

Maybe. If they did after this long, it's ridiculous to even bother with a vendetta against what happened or yourself. I don't hold one.

I think they still believe you to be dead, if I'm not mistaken.
