I was at the parents place looking over old memories today. When I enlisted, my life was put on hold. the things I had collected and held meaningful to myself all went into storage. When the parents moved to Colorado, they brought with them a collection of artifacts connected to nearly every significant event of my youth. Every box opened was a reunion with an old friend; a memory almost forgotten roaring back to life. Looking over it all, I can't help but remark that my life has been nothing if not interesting. I'll take the high moments. I'll take the low ones. My tale was worth telling even before my worldly adventures. I don't think I realized that. Perhaps they're all worth a read, quietly sitting undiscovered, awaiting proper tell.
