Wedding Stuff
Since I've been pestered for pics here, and write up on the wedding... here goes!
MUCH Thanks to my mom who came up and helped a lot, akienm for marrying us and getting pics. He really helped make a great ceremony. His sweet Leah (who's username I don't know and should) helped a ton and got some great photos. aiyume got video, and beckerbuns took photos too! jobethfun67 took some sweet photos at the reception. Ron's mom did the flowers and they were gorgeous! Though everyone, all of our guests, helped so much and made our wedding wonderful.
It was cold, but beautiful. The cakes ended up being beautiful, despite the large one cracking on the way over a little. Akien patched it up while we ran stuff from the car to the picnic area.
The wedding itself was beautiful, touching, and hilarious. Ron gave me away... weird, but fitting. Lee's vows to me and the kids were so touching. I cried. I really got lucky with this guy. Elliot, our flower boy, didn't really throw the petals like he should have.... but while I was reading my vows, he decided to throw all of the petals on the ground, stomp on them, and then he threw the basket on the ground and kicked it. Ron and Rose took Elliot at that point. The rest went smoothly.
Sadly, the dappled light made for not-so-great photos.... but I'm glad I have them. :D
