Secret stash, Image search, Multiple models, More Moon, Some Seuss
I was planning to post this yesterday, but livejournal was being bad.
It has been quite a while since I posted last. In that time, I still haven't managed to get a bed or set up my own computer. In my last post, banuaba was correct in ranting about mentioning bands of temporary name recognition on the day Ray Charles died, but I didn't find this out until about 11:00 PM that night.
I expect this to be a stupidly long post.
On last Wednesday (June 16th), I went with elvinnn to Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash, and afterwards visited the Quick Stop in Leonardo, New Jersey. Pictures may be forthcoming.
Now for the other stuff.
Stolen from Metafilter:
OAIster, a huge image searching engine focusing mostly on archive / educational databases. Seems like a great place to get source material.
Both Metafilter and BoingBoing both commented on the Moon coronation ceremony that had a few blogs in a buzz a few weeks ago, with a little more explanation and a news report of the congressmembers being 'duped' into attending.
I was looking for some X-planes as a result of the X-33 at Dan Brown's site and came across some really cool models (and lots of pictures).
