V Festival
It rained. it rained alot...Sunday was far FAR better than Saturday in my opinion...but in general, it was loads of ace.
yays: The Pipettes (only for 10 minutes though due to clashage, but I *had* to get my Rose fix...ahem), Rufus Wainwright, Sugababes, Art Brut, Jamie T, Regina Spektor, Beck, Radiohead
boos: missing Girls Aloud and The Go! Team due to clashes, only getting to watch 10 minutes of the Pipettes, Morrissey's set after the first 5 songs (opened with Panic though! wooo!), THE RAIN, having to pay £10 to find out when the bands you've payed shit loads to see are playing, the fuckers.
seeing Regina Spektor again tomorrow, then It's off to Leeds! then after that it's only one day of boring before someone gets back to England...can't remember who...some girl or something... :)
then only a few more days in London for packing/goodbyes before I move back up to Manchester! huzzah!
4th of September fools, put it in your diarys/write it on the back of your hands...I expect red carpets and a parade. and ice cream.
