when did art become a commodity?
when did the beauty and pain become so cheap that it's traded like "precious" rocks?
isn't the advancement of technology designed to make life easier, so we can spend more time developing a rich culture?
what happened to the storytellers of old? the songcrafters and bards? artistic pilgrims, working for enough so they could eat and keep telling their story? did they ever exist?
why is it that for a child to know our history, he has to spend hours of his life working for money to buy a book or a cd?
measure your life in dollars/hour. try it. it's truly sad how much we add up to.
