*sits by the lake and starts to play the violin her dad left her*

*starts to sing along with the lullaby*

I don't mean to intrude, but you play quite well.

Thank you. Is the lake really this popular?

Popular? I'm not sure. I know a lot of people spend time right over there through those trees so that might explain things if you've seen a lot of people down here recently.
Personally, I'm on a walk.

Fun. I haven't gone on a walk since... well... Nevermind, it's been a while. My head has been a little clouded lately.

Well, you're welcome to walk with me if you'd like. Good way to clear the head - or, mine, at least.

Alright then. *gets up, puts her violin away and starts to walk with you* So how are you, I haven't seen you around.

I've been well - well, actually, that's not quite true. I was ill last week. But I'm better now, thank Merlin.

That's great! I've been a little depressed lately, but everything seems to be looking up. *smiles*

That's wonderful - I'm certainly glad things are a looking brighter.

*nods to the violin case* Did you play when you were young?

Yes, my dad taught me since I was five. It's sort of a family thing I guess. :D Do you play anything?

That's lovely. It's good to start young with an instrument like the violin. I play as well, actually. Although I had a tutor; my father was busy.

That's awesome! I never met someone who played as well. It's sort of an obscure instrument where I come from, everyone's hooked on guitar and all that. It's especially different for a man to play. Rather interesting. Aww, it's a lot nicer to have fathers around.

Is it? I didn't know. Everyone in my family is required to play an instrument from a young age. Sirius learned to play piano - he didn't enjoy it very much.

My father is very political. Mother was there more than he when I was a child. Although, Father has never been good at teaching music so I suppose it's rather a good thing. *smiles*

Ha. I suppose it's a rich person thing, my parents never had any obligations outside of the store they ran. *tears fall silently down her cheek*

*looks concerned* Oh goodness are you alright? I haven't said anything, have I?

No. Thinking? It's alright. If you..um would like me to leave I will. * looks down*
