What have i done this bank holiday?
Hmmm...lets see ive been a busy bee....firstly i finished Marici's outfit in time for the meet on saturday. Im really pleased with it its so cute! Its nearly all hand sewn and took me nearly a whole week to do it!
I saw the cupcake material and this outfit came to mind! Its entire theme is based on 'tea time' or 'now its time for cake'. Her skirt is meant to be a chocolate sponge cake with cream. The belt is actually a ankle bracelet, but what cake doesnt need cherries on the top? The hat is a crocheted patch that i picked up in the fabric shop cos i thought it could make something interesting.
Saturday was meetup day in Birmingham, i had such a lovely day! I ate far too much bento and noodles. I also tried this funny drink that has a marble in the bottle! I thought it was so cool i had to take the bottle home!

I cant remember this little ones name but i really liked the pic! She belongs to another doa member.
Im not sure who Rei reserved his lap for! (Rei belongs to Donnoir on doa)

Which takes us to sunday. Hmm...what to say about sunday? It was more a day for my fella, he had a car show to go to with his american cop car. It was actually a really good day, the weather was nice not too hot with hazy sunshine. He had tones of fun looking at cars and taking pics, there were some nice stalls for me too look at too. Only one drawback though, i didnt realise how hot it was and got majorly sunburnt on my arms and face. Its stronger on one side of my face so it looks like ive been slapped really hard!
Monday was our day of rest (its a bank holiday in the uk), we got up late had some lunch and went to look at cars. Im kinda in the market for one right now as i sold my old one. I didnt buy one but we did find some that i like which is good. When i got in i then paid for some leekeworld wigs for my next bjd. (ive not even ordered her yet!). I wanted to get them in case they went out of stock. If anyone is interested im gonna be ordering an a la carte mnf with Ryeon's head in june. She already has a name too, Ishtar Ratri. It means 'Star' in Persian and 'Night' in Sanskrit. Shes gonnna be the polar opposite of Marici, wearing dark blues, purples, black and silvery things. The wigs ive ordered are in light grey as i thought they would look like the colour of the moon.
