I wasn't born a witch you know . . .I wasn't always on the pegan path. Let's look back a long time ago in a galaxy far far away LOL. . . .
I was born into a ROMAN CATHOLIC home. When I was 3 weeks old I was Baptised into St. Joseph's Catholic Church as "Dominique", named after Saint Dominic. I went to Catholicsm School for 12 years. Made my First Holy Communion and even made my Confirmation at the great ole age of 14. Known officialy by the curch as Dominique Zita. Zita after the patron saint of maids, a great story by the way.
I was in high school for about 6 months and I started to have my own thoughts and feelings about the whole "religious thing". Needless to say my parents disagreed with me 100%. Some things didn't fit. Then lo and behold I finally stumbled accross Wicca. Soem parts made alot of sense to me, but other things still seemed unanswered and flawed. So I dropped the wiccan thing. Then I had stumbled upon "Aradia Gospel of The Witches" and something just clicked. I've been following that path for quite sometime now and I feel that I made the right choice. As I become more advanced in my studies I'm actually thinking about moving on to Wizardry, but that will take some time.
People think that it's just spells, curses and potions, and all that shit you see on t.v and read in books. The totality of the pegan path has so much more to it than that. Just like any religion there is knowledge, balance, beauty, trueth, theology, philosophy, lessons, faith, and most importantly a spiritual connection with something that is greater than anything you could possibly imagine.
