This particular post started out as a response to one of my Buddies here on line. LOL But you all know me. Once my mind gets going and my philosophies get a hold of me it explodes all over the place. Now here we go with the inner workings of my mind again. . .
First and foremost, I NEVER get offended or embarrassed so please, if they're are any questions, ask away. My life is for everyone's viewing pleasure LOL
#1 Who can decide who is a goth and who isn't?? Yourself plain and simple. It's like any lifestyle one choses to live. Like wanting to be a doctor for instance. You like what they do, what they accomplish. You like the way they look, how they speak, and how they function in the world and decide you want to be one. So you set your mind to it, learn what it's all about, learn the language, the proper "uniform". Soon, you make friends that are doctors as well and you begin to share opinions and common interest.
#2 I myself, being a goth, have no NEED for an external definition of my identity. I do, however, feel more comfortable in the colors and clothes because thats who I really am. You, for example, wouldn't feel very comfortable dressing up like a wizard everyday if that wasn't who you were right?? LOL True there are some who are about the "look" more than the lifestyle and mind set, which are far more important. But hell even the Mona Lisa is falling apart.
#3 Tattoos and piercings are just self expression to me. Like artwork or creative writing. My motto is my body is a canvas. LOL Every tattoo I have stands for something. The first tattoo I ever got was the one on the side of my right calf. It is a butterfly with a heart around it. The reason I got it was because of my shamanic death. I was reborn, spiritually free, and open to love and to be loved. My clover came later. It is on my left wrist and is green and purple, my favorite energy colors. It represents good luck, nature witchcraft, and a person who will forever be in my heart. Which oddly enough, his energy is green and mine is purple. The last tattoo I have is on the back or my neck and it's chinese for Warrior. It's pretty self explanatory. I am a worroir at heart. Fighting for what I believe is right. Possesing honesty, Trust, Valor, Loyalty, Intelligence, and Strength. Plus I must "bear the mark of the warrior" for future events to come. But oh, kiddies that is another story only few will hear and even fewer to see. Piercings on the other hand are sensual to me. To me, they represent the pleasure and the the pain. It represents and erotic form of balance. Balance of any two things always peak my interest becasue I'm a witch and that is what I strive for. It's also a fetish, sexual and inviting. Have someone use a tongue ring on you. Have your nipples pierced and have someone gently tug on them, or watch a way a person reacts when you tug on theirs. Do you have any idea how great a kiss feels if someone rubs ice on their lips when their pierced right before they kiss you. The way it tickles your tongue when you run it across their lips?? Wooo, I need to slow down i'm getting a little hot and bothered here, and FUCKIN A!!! No guy to live out my earthy pleasures with and no time to take off from work. LOL
