Shut Up and Listen, Maybe You'll Be Enlightened . .
I was inspired to write this particular post by a friend of mine here in the land of Livejournal. So "sexy", if your reading this you'll know where this came from LOL. Just to let all of you fellow readers know, This is not in any way dissing on people's believes or sub culters and isn't directed to any "one" person. I'm just trying to spit some knowledge at you. So if you have any courtesy for me, and an open mind please read on. If you're one of those stupid, close minded people that think everything about you is "perfect" and no one is ever right besides you, SUCK MY DICK, SWALLOW SLOW, HUM ON MY BAWLZ, AND GO PLAY A GAME OF "HIDE AND GO FUCK YOURSELF" AND GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY JOURNAL!!!!
Having said that, I'm getting a little tired of the misconceptions about the G*O*T*H subculture. I'm a goth and fucking proud of it!! I'm not going to change it, and I would never deny it to suit anyone's comfort. However, if the situation ever came up to where I made some one feel uncomfortable because of my appearance and my "way of living" I would respect thier "bubble" and go on my morbid way.
I know hate is a strong word and I don't like using it, but I'm going to use it here. I fucking HATE how all these POSER goths are concocting these fucked up opinions from other people. Believe what you want, dont get me wrong, but make sure you have conviction. And you better fucking make sure you know the facts and what the fuck your talking about before you decide to discriminate. Pay attention, maybe you'll learn something before passing judgement.
First thing, They're are other subcultures that can seem like they're G*O*T*H, but aren't. Like some of the Emo's, Trip Hoppers, Mansonites, Dark trend Ravers, Metal Heads, Punx, Cutters, Rivet Heads, Horrorphyliacs, and ofcourse the POSERS who wish they were, but never will be.
Second, no true self respecting goth would ever spend so much time look like some fucking cum sponge slut who just got fucked in the ass in an ally dumpster. We take pride in what we look like and avoid tacky make up at any cost. Our eyeliner isn't all fucked up, we don't have cake white faces, and we Never dress in all black all the fucking time. THOSE KIND OF PEOPLE NEED TO BE FUCKING SHOT!!!
Third, True goths NEVER take themselves seriously!!! We are aware of what we look like, and it's not about attention. We have all the same emotions as everybody else and I hate when people think we're depressed all the time.
Fourth,True goths know who they are. All you "non conformists" are all alike!!! You think copying our style and pretending you know what it's all about make you something "different" Ya now you're "unique" like everybody else...FUCK YOU DIP SHIT!!
This is what it''s really about. If you don't want to read and except this part, Wipe your ass with it and move on. But you better bet your ass next time someone talks shit on us true goths, You better study up and know your shit or you'll regret it.
G*O*T*H is a subculter. Operative word being culture. It's not appearence!! What??? Thats a big shock to you. Theres more to it than that. It's music, art, thought process, opinions. It's intelligent coversations, Books written by certain authors, dancing style, "personal Style" Yes I said personal style. It's about individuality, but also having common interests as well. We're really excepting, open minded people. SO ALL YOU POSERS OUT THERE BETTER STOP THE FUCKING SHIT OR LEARN ABOUT THE SHIT YOU THINK YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. If you want to be goth, that's all fine and dandy, learn about it. If you just like the clothes, say so, but make sure you're not preaching that you're "so goth" because of it. It's like a religion you need to know the philosophy behind it. You can't just light a candle and make a wish and say that you're a witch now can you??? Us your brains people. Hopefully I haven't pissed anyone off, and if I have o well you'll get over it.
