Robin watched Blue Jay, Ravager, Speedy and Jericho get off the jet and start to follow the map given to them by Batman. He hoped their mission would prove successful. It was a long shot, but if it did, it could shorten or make this stupid fight with the Amazons end all together. It might even get Cassie to stop thinking with her emotions and start acting like Wonder Girl again. And not like a creature ruled by her emotions and hormones. Really, Robin expected better of his former leader. He'd tried to tell her so, but she had the bit between her teeth

"Stop brooding," Superboy ordered fondly, clasping Robin's shoulder. Robin leaned into the touch for a moment, before going back to paying full attention to the skies.

"Right." Robin nodded, turning the jet back towards America from the magical island…and Hotshot. Something was going wrong with the speed force and Batgirl had called them in, since something also seemed to be riling up the Rogues. They'd gotten more murderous for some reason and Hotshot needed the help to both get to the bottom of this, and keep them from harming anyone else. The chance to see Bart and Cass would be great as well. They never got to spend enough time together, with the two of them handling the Flash's cities. Last time they talked Bart was hoping Wally would take on the Flash mantel again and go back to being a hero. Paternity leave was well and good but Bart missed being a Titan.

"No, stop brooding, not start brooding on another subject." Kon smiled. "C'mon, we're going to see Bart!"

"And try to keep the Rogues from killing people," Robin reminded him. "Specifically to keep them from killing Bart. Or Cass getting murderous about them trying to kill Bart."

"How come you bats always get the girls that are poetry in lethal motion?" Kon mock whined. "Guys too for that matter."

"I do not know the answer to that question," Tim admitted. "Although you could say that the Wonders do have even more beautiful women."

"Donna and Wonder Woman maybe…Cassie's just off her rocker right now," Kon admitted. "She needs to calm down."

"Very true, although our attempts at reasoning with her do not seem to be working," Robin admitted softly. He hated not being able to help his friends. "Strap in, we're about to land." Kon nodded and strapped himself back into the seat.

"Hey guys!" Bart greeted them back at the apartment. He looked a little tense, and worn around the edges. He'd only just come to depend on his speed force again, and it disappearing like it had was disconcerting. And it wasn't just him; Wally was experiencing the same thing as were his two kids. Bart really wanted to like his cousins, he really did. But they were spoiled brats who definitely didn't belong anywhere near a heroic identity. At least, when he'd been a brat, and he knew he had been, he'd been one who was good hearted. Sometimes he wasn't so sure about his cousins good natures. He definitely wasn't going to let either of them become Impulse until they shaped up. He felt bad, like he was treating them the way Wally treated him, but, some of the tricks they'd pulled weren't anywhere near what a hero ought to pull, and deserved time outs, rather than being given a special identity.

"Hey, Bart," Kon and Bart exchanged back slapping hugs while Cass and Tim stared at each other for a long minute, doing some weird bat telepathy thing, was Kon's guess. He lived with the majority of the bats, and still didn't get some things. Tim moved on to shake Bart's hand and get pulled into a hug.

"How're you two doing?" Bart grinned.

"We're alright. Cass says you've seen the Black Flash," Tim stated.

"I have." Bart shot an irritated glare at Cass. "That's why we called you."

"If us three can't stop him… " Kon smirked.

"It will take teamwork," Tim cautioned.

"But we can stop him together." Bart smiled, starting to feel hopeful again.

"We'll do our best," Tim agreed. Sitting down around several bowls of snacks, provided by Cass who'd learned from Alfred that everything went better with snacks, they started to compile information and develop a plan together.

Running from the Rogues, Bart hoped their plan would work. He still wondered why Inertia had again chosen to go against him, and stifling the feeling of betrayal from that. Inertia was the closest he had to a brother by blood. He glanced back and swore when he saw that the Rogues were all point their weapons at him. If this didn't work, he was in for a world of hurt. He ran faster, ran harder, praying that the others would get there in time. He screamed as he felt heat, cold, magic, all hit him at once, falling to the ground, feeling as though he was freezing and burning and his insides were trying to become his outsides all at once. He frowned as the world went dark and kind blue eyes looked down at him worriedly. Not Tim or Kon eyes.

Barry knelt by the kid wearing the Flash's uniform. Following the speed force towards home, he’d stumbled on the kid just as the Rogues fired all their weapons. He wondered who the kid was, not wasting the time to find out, just dropping to his knees to help heal him. It didn’t matter, the kid was wearing the Flash uniform, and needed help. He hoped Wally was okay. Closing his eyes, and summoning the speed force to him, he pushed it into the kid, watching the damage start to heal itself with the forced overdose of speed force.

He glanced behind him to see two teens taking down the Rogues. By the moves of the one kid, he had to be Bruce's, and the other was definitely a Super. He smiled when he saw a Batgirl join the fray and turned his attention back to the young Flash. Bruce and Clark's kids could handle themselves. Bruce trained his kids well, and he had no doubt that Clark would do so as well.

"Sir?" the young man who appeared to be a Robin said softly. "Is he okay?"

"With a little time, he'll be fine," Barry replied pushing back his cowl. "Robin?"

"Yes sir," Robin replied. "This is Superboy."

"I had a feeling he might be," Barry half smiled. "And this young man is?"

"Your grandson," Batgirl responded, having finished tying up the last of the Rogues. "And the Flash."

"My…grandson?" Barry asked, brushing back the cowl. He looked down at the still face of his… his grandson. Wow. His grandson was the Flash. He hoped Wally had trained him well. He hoped Wally was alive…

"Bartholomew Allen." Robin confirmed. "We call him Bart."

"Sensible. Bartholomew is far to long a mouthful," Barry agreed.

Bart opened his eyes. "Grampa?"

"Yes, son. " Barry nodded.

"Am I dead?" Bart asked, frowning over at Robin and Superboy and Batgirl.

"No.” Barry shook his head.

"Then you're alive?" Bart asked. He felt weak, drained.

"Yes." Barry nodded brushing his grandson’s hair out of his face.

"Okay," Bart passed back out. Robin and Superboy moved closer, standing protectively over Bart, causing Barry to hide a smile.

"We have incoming," Robin warned tapping his ear. "Green Lantern, the other Flashes, Black Canary and the rest of the League."

"It'll be good to see the gang again." Barry grinned. "I missed them."

"Not half as much as we missed you, Bar’,'" Black Canary replied, ambushing him with a tight hug, quickly joined by Hal. They were the first to appear, beating Wally by half a minute.

"Let's get my grandson to safety." Barry pushed his cowl back on, stalling the festivities. "And then we can talk."
