"Rose! You're taking forever; we're going to miss our reservations," Jay hollered up the stairs.

"I'm almost done - shut the hell up," Rose replied. Joey silently laughed at the both of them. He'd never thought having a little sister would be so…right, but it really was. And Jason was a lot more fun than he'd thought at first. Beyond being a good fighter, Jay had depths that Joey had a feeling no one besides his little sister, and maybe the Wonder Girl, knew about. Jason was an interesting puzzle, and Joey was enjoying figuring it out.

"Alright." Rose stood at the head of the stairs. She was dressed in a long, simply elegant, blue-green dress. She had on the barest amount of make up, and her hair was twisted into an elegant knot secured by a stiletto decorated to look like an innocent hairpin. She prowled down the stairs and glared. "If either of you make one comment. . ."

Rose unashamedly checked both her brothers out. They were both wearing nice, formal suits and Joey even wore a tie. Jay, of course, had skipped one, but somehow managed to look formal even without it. Rose had no doubt that Jay's shoes were steel toed and both of them, just as she herself did, had several weapons secreted about their persons. Could take the hero out of the costume, but couldn't take paranoia out at the same time.

"You look decent, Posey." Jay smiled, and offered his arm.

"You look beautiful, little sister." Joey bowed to her, before offering his own arm. Rose took both and looked to Jay for a translation.

"He said you looked uglier then sin." Jason smirked. Joey glared and made a rude gesture at Jason.

"Thank you for the compliment Joey." Rose smiled slightly. "Jason, stop being an ass." She grabbed her purse letting Jason’s arm go for a moment before they all headed to the sub with Jay on her left and Joey on her right. Jay piloted the submarine quickly and efficiently towards the coast.

"Never," Jason replied. "Be honest, Posey, you wouldn't know what to do with me if I weren't an ass."

"Sure I would, and it would've been hell of a lot more fun than what you did with the Wonder Bitch," Rose answered immediately. Jason's smirk died for a moment but came back twice as strong.

"We didn't go that far." Jason shrugged nonchalantly. “We had other things on our minds." No point thinking about it now. It wasn't as if he'd been in love anyway. Just dating a nice girl, to see what that was like. In retrospect, it really hadn't been much fun.

"Right." Rose frowned. Jason hid it better, but in his own way, needed touch as much as their eldest brother needed it. And the way he got it was from sex or violence. Jay really wasn't a cuddler. She snickered at the thought of Jay just cuddling for the sake of cuddling. No wonder their fights got pretty heated most the time. Jason wouldn't cheat on his partner, so Jay probably hadn't gotten laid for months. That was never a good sign with the two senior Robins. Thank God(s) Roy had sorted Dick out and Kon took good care of the current Robin.

"Rose, you awake?" Jason snapped his fingers, drawing her out of her reverie. She smacked him upside the head on principle, not taking too much care to pull the hit.

"How's Dick?" Rose asked, curious now that she'd thought of him.

"Getting better." Jay frowned slightly. "Still seeing J'onn, but…"

"Hmmm," Rose mused. "Well, at least he's talking about it."

"Yeah." Jay shrugged. "I think J'onn might be fixing Dick a bit more than he realizes though. . . I'm not sure."

"Good." Rose nodded. "Dick's a bit screwed up." And the Grand Canyon was a little ditch.

"Preaching to the choir." Jay grinned. "So, are we going to dinner or are we gonna keep standing out here all night?"

"Stand out here all night," Rose voted.

"Whatever. C'mon, I got the old man's credit card, s'long as we're pretending to be civilized." Jay waved the piece of plastic.

"Alright!" Rose grinned. "How'd you swing that one?"

"Claimed I was soaking up some culture, with a couple other Titans at the same time Selina and Clark were talking to him."

"And that got you the card?" Joey frowned. He wasn't entirely sure what one thing had to do with another, but Jay had a habit of not making a whole lot of sense.

"Yes." Jason grinned rakishly. "You don't want to know." Joey nodded slightly. He'd figure it out later. Maybe.

They entered the restaurant, Jay name-dropped Bruce Wayne to confirm their reservation, and they were escorted to the finest table in the house. They dined, and Jason even got both of them out each for a turn around the dance floor. That was fun. Jason, while not the most graceful dancer, was still very good, and radiated hot sex in his moves. And Joey was a very graceful dancer. Rose wasn't bad, but even she admitted she couldn't make a simple waltz look like sex in a steamy backroom, the way Jay could, or like floating on air, the way Joey did.

Catching a taxi, they headed for the theatre and made their way to their seats. They chattered away until the lights dimmed and the curtain rose, ready to take them under its spell for the two hours, with only a pause for intermission.

"I am never going to another play with your two again." Rose smacked Jay with her purse, which he fended off neatly, as they walked into the Tower.

"You didn't have a good time?" Robin asked, sticking a bookmark in his book. Worry-lines creased his brow.

"They talked the entire play." Rose glared at them. She fluttered her hands about. "Constantly just going at it. Annoying and I couldn't understand what they were saying, they were going too fast."

"I'll teach you," Robin offered.

"At least one of the Titans is a gentleman." Rose smiled.

"Thanks, Posey." Jason bowed.

"Jay, could you at least pretend to be less annoying?" Robin asked, long suffering little brother.

"No," Jay said. "What're you doing up? It's three in the morning, Rob."

"Waiting for you, we need to get home." Robin frowned slightly.

"Why didn't you call me?" Jason snapped.

"It's not immediately urgent." Robin replied. "You have enough time to dress appropriately." Jason swore and nearly flew up the stairs, while Robin drew in on himself, refusing to answer any questions.
