Dear Yuletide 2014
Dear Yuletide author,
Thank you so much for taking my requests! I’m so happy you’re going to take the time to make me an awesome present. I really do appreciate and know you’ll take your time to create an awesome present
For general likes:
I love domestic fic. Alternate universe fic, angst-in-the-middle fic. I don’t like angst at the end for Yuletide. Sappier the ending, the better. Crack Au’s are great If everyone wants to go join Starfleet, that’s peachy! Het fic, slash fic, gen fic, it’s all great! I love ‘after the ending’ fic too.
General Hates:
I’m really really picky on BDSM, and don’t really enjoy the sado-masochistic end of it, if you’re REALLY jonesing to write it, please stick to the power dynamics primarily. I don’t like ship bashing, or erasing love interests and making them primarily monosexual.
My request list was in no particular order of preference
Blood-Smoke: I would love to know how Lee and Tony manage. What’s the relationship like behind doors? Do they have any particular rituals? Any other weird things happen? Is Lee learning to be more than a damsel in distress? What do Lee’s parents think? Does he care what they think? What does HE think of Tony’s past?
Again, this is a fandom where please do NOT erase previous relationships/sexuality.
Fire’s Stone: I want ever after! How do they manage to balance everything, maintain their individuality and get over trauma? What’s their new coping mechanisms?
Protector of the Small: KEL! I want more Kel. My favorite ship is Kel/Dom, but other than that, how does Kel finish the war? What happens after? How does she go about finding her own Niche? What's her thoughts on taking a squire?ure
A Knight’s Tale: What happens after for Geoff. Does he stick with Will and Edward? Or in some other world?
St Trinians:
ANNABELLE! She’s so interesting, so completely out of her depth and not even in the lake she thinks she belongs in. What happens to her? I know Kel isn’t a char, but if you could add in Annabelle/Kelly that’s my FAVE. Regardless, what does Annabelle do to make her mark as a Head Girl? What does she do afterward?
Vikings
So how do the dynamics work after the end of season two? The four of them are so interesting and there is so much to explore especially since Aslaug is barely explored especially between her and Athelstan. I don’t much care for the idea of Athelstan going back hardcore into Christianity…how does he find the balance in himself?
