Summary: Based off of Red Hood And the Outlaws. Kori's goldfish memory, her slutty behavior, and why it makes sense.
Kori thought Roy was very boring with his insistence on remembering the past. On his insistence she should remember Dick especially, or think that humans were different from each other. Dick had taught her to forget. After all, Dick forgot the Titans every time Batman called him. He forgot her whenever Barbara called him. On the night before their almost wedding, and someday if she wanted to bother she was thanking Raven for interrupting that, she knew he’d gone back to Barbara and cheated on her yet again. All people were interchangeable. It didn’t matter what she said, at least she didn’t lie to them, and pretend to love them. A casual release, and the little former Robin at least got that. Honestly, she wasn’t sure why Roy was insistent on her remembering the shitty things that had happened to her in life. If she did that, she’d be paralyzed from the memories. So she put them away and concentrated on the now, on the sun against her skin, on all the choices she got to make for herself rather than made for her. Because that’s what mattered in life, choice. Her choice, no one else’s.. “You are boring me.”
