What an AWESOME ANNIVERSARY PARTY last night!!!

Recipe for a Great Evening:

1 New BBQ assembled with the Help of Friends
2 Bottles of Massage Oil, a Massage Table, and a Friend with Wonderful Massage Skills
3 Bottles of Tequila for those who want to taste what "real" Tequila tastes like
A Shelf Full of Cider and Host-Friendly Soft Cider
A Fridge Full of Pop

9 Steaks
2 Large Packages of sliced Mushrooms (Free with Steaks)
2 Packages of Corn on the Cob
1 Loaf of Garlic Bread

1 DQ Ice Cream Cake

We can officially say that my new BBQ works.
As does Keri's Massage Table.  Sigh.

Two years without a BBQ was a long time.
I am glad to have spotted this one in the London Drugs flyer for this week.

Looking around my Apartment today, you can tell there was a Good Party last night.
Keri has commented that She didn't know my counters could hold that many dishes  :   )
Thank you Keri for all your assistance before, during and especially after the party.
Yes, there are a lot of dishes.  That is what happens when you feed nine People steak dinners.

Thank you Dan for assembling the BBQ.
Keri and I started to assemble it, but turned the job over to Dan when it became too much for our hands.

Thank you Steve for the massages.
My back has not felt this good in a VERY long time.

A BIG Thank You to Everyone who made it over last night and made it a very memorable evening.
And Thank you to Everyone who bought Chocolate and Raffle Tickets in support of the Relay.
Hard to believe the Relay is next weekend.

2010 has been a rough year for many including myself.
It is amazing how much brighter everything is after spending one wonderful night in the Company of Friends enjoying good food and swapping stories.

While there may be some uncertainty ahead (especially with Mom) I know that I will continue to make the most out of every single day surrounded by an Amazing Groups of People that I am Privileged to call Friends.

Being Single does not mean going through life Alone.

Magnet on my fridge reads: Friends Are The Family You Choose For Yourself.

What an Amazing Family I have surrounded Myself With.

Time to Help Keri with the Clean-up (after I finish off her amazing fruit salad).
I think a trip to the Bottle Depot is in order.

Hugs,
Heather Anne
