Now is the season where those of us who follow a Pagan path call for the return of the light and longer days. And with the seeking of the light comes a desire for learning.
For musicians and lovers of music, I give a small offering-- an update to the S.J. Tucker page in
Cern’s Pagan Songbook Online.
New additions to the site include: “Ravens in the Library” (inspired by the library ravens mentioned above), “Storm”, “Girl in the Garden” and the concert version Sooj does of “Go Away Godboy” (in E).
I’ve updated “Mandolin Holy Man” with a concert version (capoed and played in G) and kept the uncapoed version. Two guitars playing together, one without a capo and the other with, should give a nice full sound.
And I’ve made some needed corrections to “Go Away Godboy” the CD version which is in G.
The official lyrics of “Ravens” aren’t online at this point-- and I do not think they are anywhere on the web, except now for Cern's Songbook. So please note that what is offered there is not official and is only my ear’s interpretation-which is pretty good at hearing chords, but sometimes less so with words. As always, corrections, comments and questions are welcome.
