Testing Ryo's Patience part 03 - final
Ryo did the packing all afternoon and then he decided to take a nap before their midnight flight as he was quite tired. Ryo who was sleeping on the couch suddenly felt someone poking his ribs continuously, so he opened his eyes, he found Shige sat on the floor beside the couch.
"What the..," Ryo groaned.
"I'm hungry Ryo. And....I feel like eating spaghetti."
"What?!" His sleepiness was instantly replaced by irritation. "What time is it?"
"Almost 8"
He reached out to for his cell phone. He called the information center for spaghetti delivery order's phone number.
"But I want you to cook it. I want to eat your spaghetti."
"But we don't have the ingredients, do we?"
"It's for the baby." Shige said.
Ryo sighed, "Ok. Wait for me."
Grabbing his wallet, he went to the nearest convenience store.
Ryo was sure that when he got home, Shige would change his mind. He opened the door with that hope so that he would not have to cook at such time. However, he found Shige watching the television instead.
Ryo was boiling the sauce when suddenly Shige asked, "Do you love me?"
"What? Why? Of course I love you. Why wouldn't I?" He replied.
"Because I'm pregnant."
"And I should stop loving you when you are pregnant because....." Ryo tilt his head, expecting Shige to complete that sentence.
"Because my stomach will be swollen. I'm going to be fat. I will be super moody and above all, you won’t be sleeping with me for as long as I think you…,” Shige decided to let his voice trail off.
Ryo smiled. He turned off the stove and walked towards Shige. He pinched the other's nose and shook it lightly. "I love you because you are you. Not because of your appearance or I’m only attracted to you sexually. And you are having our baby. God has given me the most precious gift ever. You and our baby," Ryo said assuring Shige and kissed him before handing Shige a plate of ‘instant’ spaghetti.
"Here. I'm sorry if it's not that tasty. Short of a few ingredients."
Shige smiled and thanked Ryo.

Still sleepy due to Shige's sudden food craving the night before, Ryo felt a little snappy. He picked on Massu as he was the easy target. And upon boarding the plane, Ryo decided that he would sleep in the plane later.
Shige suddenly flopped besides Koyama's sit. Everyone stopped their activity and looked at Shige as if he had done something wrong.
"Shige, your boyfriend is over there," Koyama finally spoke, pointing towards Ryo who was staring back at him.
"Sorry but I want to sit here. Since this will be a long trip, I can't sit with Ryo."
Ryo inhaled deeply and grumbled in annoyance. He couldn't sleep and continously looked at Shige who was an aisle and a seat apart from him.
"Relax, Ryotan. Koyama will take good care of Shige," Tegoshi assured Ryo.
"I know I’m supposed to understand but I don’t. When he wants something, he will be all nice and sweet. I even…Nevermind,” Ryo let out a long sigh and turned his back to Tegoshi, trying to get some sleep.
"That's normal, Ryotan. Pregnant people are always like that. It's a mood swing,” Tegoshi answered, sounded as if he knew better.
"Maybe you should read more about pregnancy. It will help you know," Tegoshi advised.
He hate to agree with anyone younger than him but Tegoshi was right. He definitely needs to read more on pregnancy and made a mental note to buy one at the airport later.
Half way, Shige began to look sick and pale. Right before he looked like he was about to vomit, Ryo was already by his side, holding the paper bag. Silently, Koyama stood up and gave his seat to Ryo before the stewardess managed to reprimand Ryo for leaving his seat. Ryo mouthed thank you to Koyama and ordered a glass of warm lemonade for Shige.
For the rest of flight, Shige let Ryo sat beside him and held his hand. Soon, both were sleeping soundly.

NEWS immediately started working the minute they arrived as the director did not want to miss the good weather.
When Ryo read the script, he was opposing to the idea where Shige and Koyama have to run.
"How we can change this?" Ryo asked their manager.
"We can't change it, Nishikido kun. It was already fixed."
"But Shige definitely couldn't do this!"
"We've already agreed on this since a month ago. Everyone has to run."
"A month ago I didn't know that he's pregnant. If you don't want to talk to them, I'll go," Ryo got up and ready to approach the director.
"Wait!! Nishikido kun, I'll go with you."
Fortunately, the director agreed to make it shorter and that Shige would run slower.
They were in the middle of the shooting and already had a few takes but Shige was already losing his energy.
"I'm tired, Ryo." Shige whined.
"Can we have a break for a moment, please?" Koyama took the initiative to ask for a break.
They were given 10 minutes break. Ryo led Shige to the shade area. He gave Shige his drink and fanned him while Shige was leaning on his shoulder.
"You're too spoilt," Ryo whispered and put his lips upon his lover's forehead.
"You decided to spoil me without me asking"
Ryo chuckled, "But you are enjoying every bit of this time, aren't you?"
10 minutes passed quickly and they began to shoot again.
"Okay. I hope this is going to be the last take. The last one is good but we want to make it better, don't we?" The director spoke.
They went to their respective positions.
"Action!"
Shige waited for his turn before he made a move to catch up with the rest but as he was about to run, his slipped and fell.
"Itai~"
"Shige!!!!" Ryo yelled and ran towards Shige.
But the next thing he knew was that he was perspiring a lot and was out of breath. He looked around and realized that he was in his room and Shige was sleeping peacefully beside him. Minutes later then he realized that it was only a dream. He laid back down and wrapped
his arms around Shige and hugged him tightly.
"Ummphhh..." Shige woke up at the sudden tight hug. "I can't breathe." Shige whacked the Ryo’s head.
"I love you so much. I won't let something bad happen to you," Ryo's voice was muffled because he was talking to Shige's neck.
"Air..I need.. Ryo~ Let go off me!" Shige insisted.
"I should have protected you." Ryo finally loosened his hug.
"What are you rambling about again?" Shige sounded so sleepy and lost.
"If only I could see the baby after he was born," Ryo shrugged.
Shige blinked.
Ryo innocently asked, "You want a baby, don't you."

Ryo began to fidget, "You see.. I had a dream that you're pregnant."
Shige's eyebrows almost joined together.
Ryo nodded and smiled and that earned him a smack on the head from Shige.

"Men do not get pregnant," Shige said in a firm voice.
"But in my dream, you're really pregnant. It was so real."
Shige mumbled, ”Ryo, go back to sleep."
"I really don't mind if you're pregnant, you know," Ryo intentionally ignored Shige's statement and began stroking Shige's stomach gently with a sheepish grin on his face.
"Ryo~ I want to..."
"Let's make a baby now!" Ryo jumped on Shige and attacked him right away.
"Pervert!!!" Exclaimed Shige but made no move to prevent Ryo's movements.
"So what if I am? You are not stopping me anyway," snorted Ryo.
Shige blushed and Ryo began kissing him all over which caused Shige to moan.
Shige began to reciprocate Ryo’s actions, kissing him back and touching him all over when Ryo suddenly stopped.
"What?" Shige sounded pissed.
“You started this and now you are planning to stop?” Shige continued.
Ryo shook his head and immediately sat up straight, covering his mouth before running to the bathroom.
Shocked, Shige followed him to the bathroom and asked, “Ryo, are you alright?"
“Suddenly, I feel sick,” Ryo replied. Shige slowly stroke his back, “Is it the food that you ate?”
Ryo shook his head and rinsed his mouth. As Ryo tilt his head up and face the mirror, he screamed, “OH MY GOD! NO WAY! I SHOULDN’T HAVE ALLOWED YOU TOP ME ON YOUR BIRTHDAY! ARGH~!” while walking back into their bedroom.
Leaving a confused Shige behind.
