Got the girl...
So I left and got to the vet, all well and good. Paid the 'bail' to boost my baby outta jail...the 'cow' receptionist (see former posts) went to go get her for me.
Then there's an unholy cry/howling. A couple minutes later, the woman came out and asked me to get her. *roll* When I got back there she informed me that Emmy had peed when she tried to get her out.
So I get to the cage and see my poor baby pressed up against the back of the cage, covered with two towels. I reached a finger in and she flat out hissed at me. I talked to her and let her smell me and then got her out. So, both of us covered in pee, I managed to get her out to the car and home.
They're both settling down again. So hopefully tonight will be a fairly mellow affair.
Oh, and my wedding dress arrived! It's gorgeous, came with a garment bag (so I didn't have to pay for it...wheee!) and it fits (although it was really uncomfy as it had a liner and I was hot and sweaty so it wasn't working very well *sigh*).
Oh well, months to go, I'll just make sure I lose a touch more weight. :D
