Due to my disability, pregnancy, Jim's partial disability, and a lack of a job that will hire Jim while he's in pain management (which looks to be permanent), we are unable to care for cats anymore. We'll continue to put food out for the strays, but we need to find immediate homes for the following:
Pooh, spayed, female, long-haired calico. She is extremely affectionate, but has chewed a few wires when in the presence of other cats. It only happened a few times, but we had to confine her to the bathroom when we were unable to watch her constantly as a result. I don't think she'd have a problem as an only, or even second cat- but I want people to have fair warning.
Smokey, neutered, male siamese-looking mix. He's affectionate beyond belief. He'll follow you all over the house regardless of what you're doing. He loves to snuggle, and really is the perfect cat.
Anna, spayed, female tabby. She has been with us the longest, at just over 6 years. She first arrived with wolf-worm and almost died on our doorstep. She was extremely malnourished and happy to find a foster home with us. She's very sweet, and causes no difficulties. She will jump on counters from time to time, so you might need to put her in another room while cooking.
Chester, neutered, male gray tabby. He is the product of divorce. He's a sweet cat, and was an indoor/outdoor cat prior to us caring for him. He does have a tendency to jump on counters and try to open doors, but other than that, he's a really sweet boy.
Freddie, neutered (or never had testicles at birth), male (long-haired) maine coone. He's possibly one of the most beautiful cats I've ever seen. He's long and slender and covered in thick beautiful fur. He likes to sit in your lap or sleep next to you. He'll slap a dog that gets too close to him (causing no real harm, other than a dog's wounded ego), and has only ever shown disdain for one other cat.
