Sad news today
When I woke up this evening, I checked my FB acct, as I often do, only to learn that a long time acquaintaince, Debra 'Teacake' Boyask, aka badasstronaut had passed away from her battle with cancer.
We'd first met on an email list many years ago, and I had visited with her when I went to the UK in May 2006. We'd taken a day and gone off on a bus trip over to Bath-Spa, visited the Fashion Museum, then walked around a bit, and took a river boat cruise drinking a Pimms or two. We had a lovely time together, chatting and catching up on things.
