Can anyone recommend any books about Vikings? Any genre is fine. I found one or two on Amazon a couple months ago, but they were terrible and I'm not willing to waste any more money if I don't have to.

Specifically the late 900's or early 1000's if you need a time period.

Either, though I've read a bunch of reference books already. More reference is always good if that's what you had in mind.

I have a friend who re-enacts viking in the SCA, so I could ask her for some titles, but they'd all be reference and likely kind of obscure. Shall I ask her for some suggestions?
